Lifeguard

All you need is a willingness to learn – no experience is necessary! Our training takes place over just a few days – but don’t let that fool you! We produce some of the best lifeguards in the country. 

  • All classes will take place at Rockside Park Towers, 25400 Rockside Road, Bedford Heights, OH 44146
  • You must attend all training days for the class you have selected.
  • You must be able to pass all American Red Cross Lifeguard Training prerequisites.
  • This is a blended learning course.  The first part of training will be a 4 to 5 hour online training which you will receive 24-48 hours after payment is made.  All sections must be completed successfully before the first day of your scheduled class.

Lifeguard Instructor

The Lifeguard Instructor course is designed to train lifeguard instructor candidates to teach the basic-level American Red Cross Lifeguarding course. This is a blended learning course which consists of on-line and in-person learning.

Course Requirements & Info.

  • Must be 17 years old on or before class is over
  • Must have Basic American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification
  • Participants must attend ALL scheduled classes, no exceptions
  • 32 hours Blended Learning (online) and in-person classes
  • 2-year certification

Basic Life Support (BLS)

The Basic Life Support (BLS) course provides participants with the knowledge and skills they need to assess, recognize, and care for patients who are experiencing respiratory arrest, cardiac arrest, airway obstruction and opioid overdose.

Course Requirements & Info.

  • Participants must attend ALL scheduled classes, no exceptions
  • 4 hours Blended Learning (online) and in-person classes
  • 2-year certification

This Course Intended For

  • Medical Personnel: Nurse Practitioners, Nurse’s, Doctor’s, etc. or students entering the field
  • Public Personnel: AEMTs, EMTs Firefighters, Law Enforcement, EMRs or students entering the field

First Aid & CPR/AED

This course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants and meets OSHA/workplace requirements.

  • 4.5 hours Blended Learning (online) and in-person classes
  • 2-year certification

Babysitting

The Babysitting course provides youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to give care safely and responsibly for children and infants.

Course Requirements & Info.

  • 6 hours all in-person class
  • Intended for ages 11-15 years
  • Participants will be certified in First Aid, CPR and AED for children and infants
  • 2-year certification

Wilderness & Remote First Aid/CPR

The Wilderness course provides individuals a foundation of First Aid principals and skills to be able to respond to emergencies and give care in areas that don’t have immediate emergency medical services response (EMS), and to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac and breathing emergencies.

Course Requirements & Info.

  • Must be 14 years old on or before class is over
  • 22 hours all in-person class
  • 2-year certification for both First Aid and CPR
