Lifeguard Jobs
Last season, Hastings Water Works employed over 250 of the most professional and pro-active lifeguards in Ohio. Our partnership with the American Red Cross ensures that each of our lifeguards receive the highest and most advanced training available in the industry today. Our outstanding safety record is reflected in our numerous awards won nationally.
Hastings Water Works has lifeguard opportunities in Akron, Columbus, Cleveland, North Olmsted, Beachwood, Broadview Heights, Maple Heights, Garfield Heights, Parma, Avon Lake, Macedonia, Strongsville, Mentor, Sagamore Hills, and many more. Our employees are fully trained in pool operations including chemical treatment, pump and filter maintenance, and everything in between. Service Technician
Regardless of the time of year, Hastings Water Works is always looking for experienced individuals seeking to join our team for either seasonal or year round employment as an Aquatic Facility Service Technician. Although experience and knowledge of all aspects of swimming pool maintenance, service, and repairs is helpful, we invite anyone interested in the opportunity to submit an online application or apply via US mail.

Learn to Swim Instructors
If you have exceptional swimming skills and enjoy working with kids, our Learn To Swim program may be for you. The Hastings Water Works program offers everyone from infants to adults the opportunity to enjoy the water safely and confidently. This program offers those lifeguards who may be teachers, competitive swimmers, or anyone interested, the rewarding opportunity to instruct others.
Junior Lifeguarding
For those students who have mastered the Learn To Swim program, Hastings Water Works has designed a Junior Lifeguard course. This course includes everything from water rescue techniques to CPR and First Aid. And best of all, this course can be taught by you. If you have ever thought of becoming an Ellis and Associates lifeguard instructor, this is a great opportunity to get your feet wet.
Aqua Aerobics Instructors
Finally, if you have background in aquatic exercise, Hastings Water Works has the summer job for you. Many of our facilities are looking for water programs designed for those who are arthritic, rehabilitating, or just want exercise. If you are looking to make extra money, stay in shape, and help others do the same, look no further!
